Hotel Sales Manager
A prestigious hotel in the bustling city of Akron is seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue and increase occupancy rates. This position requires a highly motivated individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to attract new business and maintain existing client relationships
- Identify potential clients and conduct market research to stay current with industry trends
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service to clients
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies
- Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts for management review
- Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring that all terms are mutually beneficial
- Keep up-to-date with competitor pricing, services, and promotions
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the hotel
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales or a related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Knowledge of various sales techniques, such as cold calling, networking, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Accommodation: Provided by employer
Nationality: Indian (preferred)
Language Requirements: Fluency in English (required), knowledge of any additional languages is an asset.
Other Requirements:
- Must have a valid biometric passport for international travel
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Prior experience working in a hotel or hospitality industry is an asset.
