Hotel Sales Manager

As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for the hotel. Your main duties will include developing and implementing effective sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and identifying new business opportunities. You will also be responsible for managing a team of sales associates and ensuring that they meet their targets.

To excel in this role, you should have strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as a proven track record in sales. A degree in marketing or hospitality management is preferred but not required. Previous experience in hotel sales or a related field is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase hotel revenue
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to drive repeat business
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Manage a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their targets
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for the sales team
- Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure seamless service delivery for clients
- Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis
- Attend industry events and conferences to stay updated on market trends and network with potential clients
- Ensure that all bookings are handled efficiently and accurately by the front desk staff

Requirements:
- Proven experience in hotel sales or a related field
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities
- Ability to lead a team effectively and motivate them to achieve targets
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or hospitality management (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with hotel booking systems such as Opera or Fidelio (preferred)
