Mason for Construction Project in Nakuru, Kenya


Are you an experienced Mason looking for a new opportunity in the construction industry? Our company is currently seeking a skilled Mason to join our team for a contract job in Nakuru, Kenya. We welcome applicants of all nationalities, but preference will be given to Indian candidates who are fluent in English.

As a Mason, you will be responsible for laying bricks, stones, and other types of building blocks to construct walls, foundations, and other structures. You will also be required to read and interpret blueprints and follow specific building codes. Experience in working on construction projects is a must for this role.

In addition to your masonry skills, we are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and able to work well within a team. As this is a contract job, you must be willing to commit to the duration of the project. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of your employment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks, stones or other types of building blocks according to blueprints and building codes
- Cut or shape materials as needed using hand or power tools
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using trowels
- Create structures that are plumb and level using techniques such as bonding or pointing
- Repair or restore existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Good understanding of building codes and regulations
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Team player with good communication skills
- Willingness to commit to the duration of the project
