Skilled Turner - Mombasa, Kenya


We are currently seeking a skilled Turner to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. This is a contract position with a salary of 1100$ per month. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating various tools and machinery to shape and cut metal parts for various projects.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to determine the specifications of metal parts
- Operate lathes, drills and other machinery to shape and cut metal parts according to specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
- Troubleshoot any issues with machinery or equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working in the workshop

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Turner or in a similar role is required
- Knowledge of various tools and machinery used in metalworking such as lathes, drills, grinders etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues with machinery or equipment
- Must have own visa or be eligible to obtain one for working in Kenya
