Shaper - Woodworking Craftsman



We are seeking a skilled Shaper to join our team of woodworking craftsmen in Zagreb, Croatia. As a Shaper, you will be responsible for shaping and forming wood into various products such as furniture, cabinets, and decorative items.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various shaper machines and tools to shape wood according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the shape and dimensions of the final product
- Select appropriate wood materials for each project based on strength, durability, and aesthetic qualities
- Use hand tools such as chisels, planes, and saws to refine and finish wood pieces
- Ensure precision and accuracy in all measurements and cuts
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance before delivering them to the next stage of production
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within set deadlines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shaper or similar role in the woodworking industry
- Proficient in using shaper machines and hand tools such as chisels, planes, and saws
- Familiarity with blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Portfolio or samples of previous work will be considered an advantage

Salary:
1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
