Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your role will involve designing and implementing test plans, conducting tests, identifying and reporting defects, and working closely with developers to resolve issues. You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving our testing processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, as well as experience with automated testing tools. This is a full-time position based in Los Angeles with a salary of $1800 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing test plans for software products
- Conducting tests to identify defects and ensure product quality
- Working closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes
- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts
- Identifying areas for improvement in the testing process
- Communicating test results to stakeholders and providing recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred:
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of mobile application testing
- ISTQB certification
