Hotel Sales Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Faro. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for our hotel through strategic planning, relationship building, and effective sales techniques. You will also be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives and ensuring they meet their targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase bookings and revenue
- Identify and build relationships with potential corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, and other key partners
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends
- Monitor sales performance and provide reports to senior management
- Train and motivate the sales team to achieve their targets
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, reservations, and revenue management to maximize sales opportunities
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and sales trips to promote the hotel
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Hotel Sales Manager or in a similar role in the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent knowledge of hotel operations, pricing strategies, market trends, and competition analysis
- Ability to lead a team effectively while also working independently
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Must have legal authorization to work in Faro
