Entry Level Tiler in Faro, Portugal


We are a reputable construction company in Faro, Portugal seeking an Entry Level Tiler to join our team. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tile for residential and commercial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the construction industry and looking to start their career.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific spaces using various tools such as saws and tile cutters
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and leveling them before installation
- Mix and apply mortar or adhesive to tiles with precision
- Install tiles in a variety of patterns, including diagonal, herringbone, or straight
- Make adjustments or repairs to tiles as needed
- Remove old tiles and clean up job site after completion of project

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in tile installation preferred but not required (training will be provided)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials for extended periods of time
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
