We are hiring a Cashier to join our team at our retail store in Los Angeles. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and provide them with a positive shopping experience
- Scan items, process payments, and give change accurately
- Answer customer inquiries and assist with product location and pricing
- Ensure all items are properly scanned and priced
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies
- Follow cash handling procedures and maintain accuracy in all transactions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of checkout area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year of cash handling experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (Filipino language skills is a plus)
- Proficient in using cash register or POS system
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must have a valid biometric passport
