Biometric Passport Computer Systems Analyst

As a Biometric Passport Computer Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining computer systems that are used to manage biometric passport data. This includes analyzing user requirements, conducting system testing, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to end-users. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the biometric passport system. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of computer systems and security protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing computer systems for managing biometric passport data
- Analyzing user requirements and translating them into technical specifications
- Conducting system testing to ensure functionality and accuracy
- Troubleshooting issues with the system and providing technical support to end-users
- Ensuring the security and integrity of the biometric passport system
- Staying updated on advancements in technology related to biometric passports
- Collaborating with other team members to improve system efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Computer Systems Analyst or similar role
- Knowledge of database management, data structures, and programming languages
- Familiarity with security protocols such as encryption methods and firewalls
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems efficiently
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with users and team members

Location: This role will be based in Almada but remote work options may also be available.

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
