We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Database Administrator to join our growing team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security, efficiency, and availability. This role is suitable for men with experience in database administration and does not offer accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Back up and restore databases as needed
- Manage database security by implementing access controls and data encryption
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement new databases
- Keep databases up-to-date with the latest patches and updates
- Develop scripts to automate database tasks
- Provide technical support for database-related issues

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of SQL language and relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Experience with database security measures such as access controls and data encryption
- Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot database issues effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this position.
