Hotel Sales Manager in Nakuru, Kenya
Our hotel in Nakuru, Kenya is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our hotel's services to potential clients, while maintaining relationships with existing clients. This role requires a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients and travel agencies
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and competitors' activities
- Represent the hotel at industry events and trade shows
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and presentations for potential clients
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel or tourism sales management
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets
- Knowledge of local market trends and competitors
- Willingness to work flexible hours
