Merchandiser for Indian English-Speaking Professionals in Al-Kuwait


We are seeking a skilled Merchandiser to join our team in Al-Kuwait. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing effective merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability. You will work closely with suppliers, buyers, and sales teams to ensure that our products are displayed in an attractive and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute merchandising plans for assigned products/categories
- Monitor product performance and make necessary adjustments to maximize sales
- Analyze market trends and customer preferences to make informed merchandising decisions
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, promotions, and product placement
- Work closely with buyers to plan product assortment and manage inventory levels
- Train sales teams on product features, benefits, and selling techniques
- Conduct store visits to ensure proper display of products according to merchandising guidelines

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Merchandiser in the retail industry
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Indian languages is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel within Al-Kuwait for store visits
