Executive Chef
As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations of our high-end restaurant located in Faro, Portugal. You will be responsible for creating and implementing menus, managing food costs and inventory, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
- Manage food costs by sourcing ingredients at the best prices without compromising on quality
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and portion control
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain consistency in dishes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies in a timely manner
- Collaborate with management to develop promotional events or special menu options
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to manage a diverse team of kitchen staff
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate others
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovation in the culinary world
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month along with opportunities for growth within our company.
Location:
This position is located in Faro, Portugal. Applicants must be willing to relocate if not already residing in Faro.
