Instrument Technician



Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Instrument Technician to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and be able to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various types of instruments used in industrial settings. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and level transmitters
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve instrumentation issues
- Keep accurate records of instrument maintenance and repairs
- Comply with all safety regulations and procedures while working on instruments
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies in the field of instrumentation

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with various types of instruments used in industrial settings
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Working Conditions:
This job may require working outdoors or in confined spaces at times. The candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders or scaffolding when necessary. The work schedule may include weekends, evenings, or overtime depending on project needs.
