Turner - Metal Machinist (Nakuru)


We are seeking a skilled Turner with experience in metal machining to join our team in Nakuru. As a Turner, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various metalworking machines such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines to produce precision metal parts according to specifications. This role requires strong technical knowledge of metalworking processes and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate metalworking machines to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machine settings
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and make adjustments as necessary
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform routine maintenance
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner or Metal Machinist
- Proficient in operating various metalworking machines such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines
- Strong technical knowledge of metalworking processes and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary:
1400$ per month
