Job Title: Bakery Assistant - Los Angeles, USA


We are a well-established bakery in Los Angeles and we are seeking a talented and experienced Baker to join our team as a Bakery Assistant. As a Bakery Assistant, you will work closely with our Head Baker to create delicious baked goods that keep our customers coming back for more.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Baker in preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods
- Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistency in taste and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery kitchen
- Monitor inventory levels and inform the Head Baker of any shortages or needs
- Ensure all products meet our high standards of freshness and appearance before being displayed for sale
- Assist with packaging and labeling of products for sale
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about products, taking special orders, and handling customer complaints or concerns
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Baker or Bakery Assistant in a fast-paced bakery setting is required
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment with excellent communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time during shifts
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary: $900 per week

This is a contract position with potential for full-time employment based on performance.

Preference will be given to candidates who have their own visa/work permit.
