Accountant for a Contract Position in Faro



We are hiring an experienced Accountant for a contract position in Faro. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience and be proficient in financial software and MS Office applications. The primary responsibilities will include preparing and analyzing financial records, reconciling bank statements, and creating financial reports. The candidate must have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of transactions
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or errors
- Create financial reports on a regular basis
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g. QuickBooks) and MS Office applications (especially Excel)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1700$ per month. In addition, accommodation will be provided by the company.
