Caregiver for Elderly in Braga, Portugal

We are in need of a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide support and assistance to elderly individuals in Braga, Portugal. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for helping with daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, meal preparation, and medication reminders. You will also provide companionship and emotional support to promote a positive and comfortable environment for our elderly clients.

Requirements:
- No prior experience necessary
- Must be legally authorized to work in Portugal (visa sponsorship available)
- Fluent in Portuguese or able to communicate effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and assist with feeding if needed
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with the elderly individual
- Monitor changes in health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the elderly individual

Qualifications:
- Empathetic and patient nature with a passion for helping others
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job (lifting, bending, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with elderly individuals
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing situations
- High school diploma or equivalent

Salary: Starting at 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
