Part-Time Database Administrator


We are currently seeking a highly motivated Part-Time Database Administrator to join our team in Almada. This position is ideal for someone looking for a flexible work schedule and has a passion for data management. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating our company's databases, ensuring data integrity and security, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update company databases on a regular basis
- Monitor database performance to ensure efficient operation
- Develop and implement data backup and recovery plans
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing access controls and monitoring user activity
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure data needs are met

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle)
- Familiarity with data backup and recovery procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: $1200 per month (part-time)

Location: Almada, Portugal
