Mason Supervisor



We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mason Supervisor to join our team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will oversee a team of masons and ensure that all construction projects are completed efficiently and to high quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of masons, providing guidance and support as needed
- Plan and coordinate daily tasks for the team, assigning specific duties to each member
- Inspect and assess job sites to determine necessary materials, tools, equipment, and methods for completing projects
- Train new masons on proper techniques for bricklaying, stonework, and other masonry tasks
- Monitor the progress of projects and make adjustments as needed to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed by the team at all times
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns or issues that may arise during the project
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, hours worked, and other project details

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a mason with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of different types of bricks, stones, mortar mixtures, tools, equipment, and techniques used in masonry work
- Ability to read blueprints and follow architectural plans accurately
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, architects, and other professionals involved in construction projects
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Own transportation preferred
