Part-Time Information Security Analyst

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team on a part-time basis in Funchal, Portugal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and information technology, with a keen eye for identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities in our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to safeguard our systems and data
- Monitor network activity for any unusual or suspicious behavior
- Respond to security incidents and conduct thorough investigations
- Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure proper implementation of security measures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and technologies
- Familiarity with common network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and problem-solve
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1500 per month. The working hours are flexible but may require occasional evening or weekend work. This position does not include accommodation but offers free visa sponsorship and travel assistance.
