Job Title: Information Security Analyst – Funchal, Portugal



As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in protecting our company's sensitive data and information systems. You will be responsible for identifying potential security risks and implementing measures to mitigate them. With your expertise in information security, you will help ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols
- Monitor network activity to detect any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends to continuously improve our defense strategies
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in information security or a similar role
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance requirements
- Knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, etc.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nmap or Nessus
- Strong analytical skills to identify potential risks and develop effective solutions
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
