We are seeking a skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team in Utena, Lithuania on a contract basis. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the organization's sensitive data and information systems from cyber threats and attacks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security risks and weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Implement security controls such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols to safeguard against cyber attacks.
- Monitor network activity for suspicious behavior and investigate any potential security breaches.
- Respond to security incidents by initiating containment procedures, conducting forensic investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in information security to proactively identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Requirements:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) with excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Previous experience in information security or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST.
- Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
