We are a growing financial services company based in Porto, Portugal seeking an Entry-Level Accountant to join our team. This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$. As an Entry-Level Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day financial operations of the company.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
- Reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions
- Preparing and posting journal entries
- Assisting with month-end closing procedures
- Maintaining accurate and organized financial records
- Assisting with financial reporting and analysis
- Communicating effectively with team members and clients

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles preferred

Preference will be given to candidates who are currently located in Porto or able to relocate without assistance. This is an entry-level position, so no prior experience is required. However, previous internship or coursework experience in accounting is a plus.
