Caregiver for Elderly in Porto



We are hiring a compassionate and responsible Caregiver to provide support and assistance to elderly individuals in Porto. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, providing emotional support, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our elderly clients.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication as prescribed by a doctor
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Monitor client's health and report any changes to the family or medical professionals
- Ensure client's safety at all times by being alert to potential hazards
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for the client
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings if needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred
- Must be physically fit and able to lift/move clients if necessary
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic towards elderly individuals
- Excellent communication skills in Portuguese (English is a plus)
- Must have own visa or be able to obtain one independently
- Accommodation will be provided if needed (preference for male caregivers)
