Crane Operator – Lisbon

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience operating cranes and be able to work independently on a contract basis. As a crane operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment. This may include loading and unloading materials from trucks, transporting materials within a construction site, or operating a crane for maintenance or repair purposes.

Key responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of cranes according to job specifications
- Perform daily pre-operational checks on equipment
- Operate crane controls to lift and move materials according to directions from the ground crew or supervisor
- Monitor load charts and calculate load capacities to ensure safe lifting operations
- Communicate effectively with ground crew and site supervisor regarding lift operations
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols at all times
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid crane operator certification or license
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed

Location:
This position is located in Lisbon. While preference will be given to local candidates, applicants from other locations will also be considered. Accommodation is not provided but free visa sponsorship and travel ticket will be provided for non-local candidates.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month.
