Sous Chef
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our team at our upscale restaurant in Dar Kulaib. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, costing, and food ordering
- Oversee and train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and sanitation practices
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain proper stock levels of ingredients
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presented in an attractive manner
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experience
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of different cooking techniques and international cuisine
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
