Executive Chef - Canadian Cuisine
We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef specializing in Canadian cuisine to join our team in Hawalli. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month. The ideal candidate will be a Canadian national with a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes using traditional Canadian ingredients and cooking techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create menus that reflect the diverse flavors of Canadian cuisine
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high quality standards
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new menu items accordingly
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role, preferably in a Canadian restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian cuisine, including regional variations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Passion for creating unique and delicious dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
