Land Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Land Surveyor to join our team in Nairobi. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine the exact boundaries and features of a piece of land. This includes using specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and digital levels to collect data and create maps. You will also be responsible for analyzing data, creating reports, and ensuring that all surveys comply with local regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys to determine boundary lines, elevations, contours, and other topographical features of land
- Use specialized equipment to collect accurate data, including GPS receivers, total stations, and digital levels
- Create maps and documentation based on survey data
- Analyze survey data to identify any discrepancies or errors
- Ensure that all surveys comply with local regulations and standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project details and progress
- Maintain accurate records of all survey activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Land Surveyor
- Proficient in using surveying equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and digital levels
- Knowledge of relevant software programs such as AutoCAD or GIS
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary: $1100 per month
