Executive Chef at a Fine Dining Restaurant in Lom, Nepal
We are a well-established fine dining restaurant located in the bustling city of Lom, Nepal. We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team and lead our kitchen operations. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and presentation, creating new menus, managing inventory and kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant
- Ability to create innovative and high-quality menus that cater to diverse tastes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of kitchen staff
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Fluent in English (Nepali language skills are a plus)
- Must have own visa/work permit for Nepal
Responsibilities:
- Develop seasonal menus that showcase creative dishes using fresh, local ingredients
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, portion control, and sanitation practices
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient operations
- Ensure that all food is prepared according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with management on budgeting and cost control measures
- Address any customer concerns or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this position.
