Smelter Operator in Zagreb, Croatia

As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining smelting equipment to extract metals from their ore or scrap material. You will work in our smelting plant located in Zagreb, Croatia. This job is suitable for Indian nationals looking for job opportunities abroad.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor smelting equipment, such as furnaces, converters, and electrolytic cells
- Control the flow of materials and adjust temperatures to ensure efficient extraction of metals
- Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to detect any malfunctions or abnormalities
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the smelting process
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operation

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Smelter Operator or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of smelting processes and equipment is an asset
- Must be physically fit as the job may involve lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
