Sales Representative - Kenya
Our company is currently hiring a motivated and ambitious Sales Representative to join our team in Kenya. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products to potential customers, building strong relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to prospective customers
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products/services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and industry trends
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or relevant role (experience in selling consumer goods is a plus)
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build productive business relationships
- Highly motivated with a results-driven approach
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus
- Must be fluent in English (knowledge of other local languages is an advantage)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Kenya
