Preservation Architect
A reputable architecture firm in Los Angeles is seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural design, construction techniques, and preservation principles. The ideal candidate will have experience working on restoration projects and a passion for preserving cultural heritage. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical structures to determine preservation needs
- Develop detailed plans for the restoration and preservation of historic buildings
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success
- Research and recommend appropriate materials and techniques for restoration work
- Monitor progress of restoration projects and make adjustments as needed
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to historic preservation
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in architectural design and restoration work
- Knowledge of architectural history, styles, and construction techniques
- Familiarity with building codes, zoning laws, and preservation regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural software
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Los Angeles (open to all nationalities)
