Body Repair Master
A body repair master is responsible for repairing damaged vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. They use specialized tools and equipment to fix dents, scratches, and other types of damage to the vehicle's body. This role requires a high level of skill and precision, as well as the ability to work with a variety of automotive materials.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles and determine the best course of action for repairs
- Use specialized tools and equipment to repair dents, scratches, and other types of damage on vehicle bodies
- Replace damaged parts or panels as needed
- Straighten bent frames or unibodies using hydraulic equipment
- Apply fillers, primers, and paint in order to restore the vehicle's appearance
- Ensure all repairs are completed to meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Keep detailed records of repairs made and parts used
- Communicate with customers about the status of their vehicle's repairs
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a body repair technician or similar role
- Knowledge of automotive materials and repair techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Good communication skills
Education/Training:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Additional training or certification in automotive body repair is preferred.
Salary: $1400 per month
City: Los Angeles
