Entry Level Construction Manager


As an Entry Level Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects in the city of Akron. Your primary role will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and schedules, including cost estimates and material procurement
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Oversee construction progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations
- Monitor project budget and make adjustments as needed to stay within budget constraints
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status
- Identify potential risks or issues that may impact project timelines or budget
- Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained for each project
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect progress and address any concerns or issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred
- Prior experience in construction management is a plus but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Akron.

Preferred Requirements:
