Rental Agent (Nakuru, Kenya)
A rental company in Nakuru, Kenya is seeking a motivated and reliable Rental Agent to assist in the management of rental properties. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$, and accommodation will be provided. The ideal candidate should have experience in property management and excellent communication skills. Fluency in English is not required, but knowledge of the local language would be beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the management of rental properties, including handling tenant inquiries and complaints
- Conduct property viewings and provide potential tenants with information about available rentals
- Process rental applications, collect necessary documents, and conduct background checks on potential tenants
- Coordinate lease agreements and ensure all terms are clearly communicated to tenants
- Collect rent payments and follow up on any late payments or issues
- Coordinate maintenance requests and repairs for rental properties
- Keep accurate records of all rental transactions and maintain organized files for each property
- Stay updated on local rental laws and regulations to ensure compliance with all requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in property management or real estate industry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of local rental laws and regulations preferred
- Biometric passport required for international candidates
