Contract Turner in Gujrat, India

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Turner to join our team in Gujrat on a contract basis. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines to shape and cut metal parts according to specifications. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$, without accommodation but with free visa and ticket provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain lathes, drills, milling machines, grinders, and other machinery to shape metal parts
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications and dimensions of parts
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of finished parts
- Adjust machine settings to control speed, feed, and depth of cuts
- Inspect finished parts for quality and make any necessary adjustments
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Turner in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of operating various machines including lathes, drills, milling machines, and grinders
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

Preference will be given to candidates who are local to Gujrat or willing to relocate at their own expense.
