Merchandiser - Retail Department

As a Merchandiser in our Retail Department, you will be responsible for managing the buying and selling of products in our store. Your primary role will be to ensure that our store is stocked with the right products at the right time and at the right price. You will work closely with vendors, sales representatives, and internal teams to plan and execute product displays, promotions, and pricing strategies. You will also analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for product assortment and inventory management. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment will be essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage product selection and ordering process
- Develop pricing strategies based on market trends and competitor analysis
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Plan product displays and promotions to drive sales
- Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as needed
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and recommend changes to product assortment
- Communicate regularly with internal teams regarding product availability, promotions, and pricing
- Maintain organized records of purchase orders, invoices, and other documents related to merchandise
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in retail merchandising or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in retail merchandising or buying
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors
- Excellent analytical skills for data analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Salary: 1600$ per month (without accommodation)
