Excavator Operator - Karachi, Pakistan



We are in need of an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Karachi, Pakistan. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate and move earth or other materials. You will also be responsible for conducting routine maintenance on the equipment and ensuring that it is operated safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of excavating equipment such as bulldozers, front-end loaders, and backhoes
- Use hand and foot levers to control movement of the equipment
- Follow safety procedures and regulations while operating the equipment
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Coordinate with other crew members to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner
- Keep track of daily production and report any issues or concerns to supervisors
- Ensure that work area is clean and free of debris after completing projects
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator, preferably in a construction or mining environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of safety procedures for operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Good communication skills with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
