Junior Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Karachi. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with a degree in accounting or finance and has a strong desire to learn and grow in the field. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in accounting and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. The salary for this position is 900$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and general ledger
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts
- Assist with tax preparation and audits
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and other departments regarding financial matters
- Keep up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations is a plus

Location: Karachi (local candidates preferred)

Salary: 900$ per month
