Chef de Cuisine



As a Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations in our restaurant located in Lahore. Your main goal will be to ensure that our customers receive the highest quality of food and service. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to create and execute new dishes, as well as maintain the consistency and quality of existing menu items. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing inventory, adhering to food safety standards, and training new kitchen employees. We are looking for a creative and experienced chef who is passionate about providing an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

Salary: $1000 per month

Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations
- Create and execute new dishes
- Maintain consistency and quality of existing menu items
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Adhere to all food safety standards
- Train new kitchen employees on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and company policies
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and report any issues or repairs needed
- Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure proper coverage during peak hours

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Enthusiasm for creating innovative dishes using fresh, local ingredients
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a fine dining restaurant or hotel establishment

- Knowledge of Pakistani cuisine

- Familiarity with budgeting, inventory management, and cost control

- ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training
