Job Title: Waiter/Waitress at a Fine Dining Restaurant in Funchal



We are seeking a skilled and professional Waiter/Waitress to join our team at a prestigious fine dining restaurant in Funchal. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests and ensuring they have an enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the system
- Serve food and drinks promptly and accurately according to the restaurant's standards
- Respond to any guest inquiries or requests in a professional manner
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly resolve any issues or complaints
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and work stations
- Prepare bills accurately and handle payment transactions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the restaurant

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a fine dining establishment is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests from different backgrounds
- Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage pairings is an advantage
- Able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
The salary for this position starts at $1500 per month, with potential for increases based on performance.
