Office Manager
As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our office in Funchal. Your main duties will include overseeing administrative tasks, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the office. We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate who can prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing office supplies
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient communication and workflow
- Schedule appointments and meetings for management and staff
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Manage payroll and expenses
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures
- Monitor office budget and expenses
- Ensure compliance with company regulations and legal requirements
- Conduct performance evaluations for office staff
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise within the office
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Knowledge of accounting principles is a plus
Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Funchal (own visa required)
