Metal Fabricator

We are searching for an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team in Porto! As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating and repairing metal structures and components according to specifications. This is a part-time position with the possibility of accommodation and urgent start.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine requirements
- Cut, shape, and bend metal using various tools such as saws, shears, presses, and drills
- Weld or join metal pieces together using welding techniques such as TIG, MIG or ARC welding
- Ensure all work meets quality standards by inspecting finished products for defects
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
- Skilled in using various hand tools and machinery for cutting, shaping, and bending metal
- Experience with welding techniques such as TIG, MIG or ARC welding
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Physical stamina to handle manual labor tasks for extended periods of time

Location: This position is based in Porto but we welcome applications from candidates of any nationality who are legally allowed to work in Portugal.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month along with the possibility of accommodation.
