Network and Systems Administrator
Location: Faro, Portugal (Preference for local candidates)


We are currently seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our growing team in Faro, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's network and systems infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that our systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Install new equipment and perform upgrades as needed
- Implement security measures to protect the network from cyber threats
- Manage user accounts and permissions on various systems
- Maintain server backups and disaster recovery plans
- Assist with software installations and updates on servers and workstations
- Provide technical support to end-users for any hardware or software issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Knowledge of server operating systems such as Windows Server or Linux
- Familiarity with backup solutions such as Veeam or Acronis
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Additional Requirements (Preferences):

- Previous experience working in a similar role

Salary:
Salary for this position is 1000$ per month.
