Our welding company in Faro is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to join metal parts together, ensuring the highest quality of work and following safety protocols. This is a full-time position with accommodation options available and open to students who are looking for hands-on experience in the welding profession.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments together
- Monitor equipment and adjust settings as needed for optimal results
- Inspect welds for defects and make necessary repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Proficient in operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in various positions
- Knowledge of safety precautions when working with welding equipment
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in welding from an accredited institution
- Previous experience working on construction sites or in industrial environments
- Familiarity with different types of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing job requirements

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.
