Data Mining Analyst



As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting valuable insights and patterns from large datasets to support business decision-making processes. You will work closely with the data science team to identify and define key business problems, develop data mining models and algorithms, and present findings to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data mining tasks such as data cleaning, transformation, and analysis
- Develop and implement data mining models and algorithms to extract insights from large datasets
- Collaborate with the data science team to identify and define key business problems
- Present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of data mining models and make necessary improvements
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data mining or similar role
- Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and other relevant programming languages
- Experience with statistical analysis tools such as SAS or SPSS
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Location: Almada (with accommodation provided)

Salary: $1400/month
