We are a publishing company looking for an experienced Typesetter to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images to create visually appealing layouts for print and digital publications.

Responsibilities:
- Format and arrange text and images according to design specifications
- Use desktop publishing software to create layouts
- Ensure consistency in font, spacing, and alignment throughout the publication
- Adjust layouts based on feedback from editors or clients
- Troubleshoot any technical issues with files or software
- Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Typesetter or related role
- Proficiency in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Knowledge of typography principles and design aesthetics
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to take direction from others

Preferred:
- Experience working with multiple languages or non-Latin scripts
- Familiarity with e-publishing tools and formats
- Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.
