Senior Architect (Contract) - Faro, Portugal



A well-established architecture firm in Faro, Portugal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design process for various projects, from conceptualization to completion.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop innovative design solutions
- Lead and manage a team of architects and designers to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery
- Develop and present design proposals, including 3D renderings and physical models
- Oversee construction documents and coordinate with contractors during the construction phase
- Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and regulations
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to continuously improve designs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, preferably in commercial or residential projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas to clients and team members
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
